We commemorate with deep gratitude and respect, the great leader of our struggle for independence and the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, along with his comrades in arms, as well as all our martyrs and veterans.
As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we do so with enthusiasm and pride, while embracing the sacred legacy bequeathed to Turkish youth by the great leader Atatürk. His words, 'O rising generation! The future is yours. We founded the Republic, and you will be the ones to uplift and preserve it,' serve as a reminder of our responsibility.
